Slovakian nuclear power plant Mochovce staff underwent periodic training on the reactor VR-1.

Training Course for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

A special two-week course for students from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (USA) was held at the VR-1 reactor. Students underwent lectures and practical exercises focused on neutron detection, reactor physics, reactor operation and control, nuclear safety and radiation protection. Students also visited the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, National Radiation Protection Institute, ŠKODA Nuclear Machinery and fusion reactor Golem.

Consortium of UK universities NTEC (Nuclear Technology Education Consortium) underwent training course on the reactor VR-1.

Ambassador of the Republic of India visited FNSPE CTU

Ambassador of the Republic of India, Narinder Chauhan, visited FNSPE CTU to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education. The ambassador tried the startup and reactor control on the model of VR-1 reactor.
